The Business Problem
Mendocino Spirits was working to expand distribution, but they were running into a familiar challenge: their distilling method was unique, and it took too long to explain in a pitch. Without a simple narrative, it was hard for larger distributors to quickly grasp what made the product different—and why that difference mattered.
The Solution
We developed Between the Barrels, a three-video series filmed at Tamar Distillery in Redwood Valley, California. Each episode tackles one piece of the story in plain language, with enough technical detail to build trust.
Why it Worked
The series gives Mendocino Spirits a repeatable explanation of “clean” whiskey that doesn’t require a long technical conversation. It’s visual, memorable, and built for sharing.
Outcome
The three-video series has continued to extend their reach and support larger conversations by giving the team an asset they can send ahead of meetings or use as a follow-up that actually gets watched.
